This module provides you with an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding essential for supervising and assessing students (learners) as they acquire professional knowledge, attitudes and skills in the workplace. The module is relevant to nurses, midwives and associated healthcare professionals and as such draws upon The Nursing and Midwifery Council’s Realising Professionalism: Standards for education and training part 2: Standards for student supervision and assessment (NMC, 2018) and the professional standards for education as prescribed by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, 2017).
This module prepares you for the role of practice assessor. It can be studied with and without academic credit, according to your study and workforce needs.
