City works closely with employers to help develop and retain their best talent and create programmes that address skills gaps and meet businesses goals and objectives. We are committed to providing academic excellence for business and the professions.

Apprenticeships at City are a world-class learning experience that offer genuine opportunities for career progression and provide an effective means to upskill staff and create a positive impact on an organisation’s bottom line.

Programmes are designed with businesses to be flexible, so apprentices receive the most personalised and relevant coursework and employers develop the workplace skills to increase return on investment long-term.

Choosing an apprenticeship over the traditional route to qualification has been the best decision that I could have made. City University have been very supportive and I am loving the challenges and rewards that the combination of practical work and academic study brings.

This role is designed to bridge the gap between health and care assistants and registered nurses. Nursing associate is a stand-alone role that will also provide a progression route into graduate level nursing.
