Midwifery courses at City University London

Your degree will enable you to apply for professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), opening up a huge range of opportunities both in the UK and abroad.

Study midwifery at one of London's leading universities for healthcare education and research. Based in the heart of London, our midwifery courses offer students a practical degree that will prepare them for their career. Approximately 60% of the course is spent on placement at some of London's leading clinical settings, including Bart's Health NHS Trust, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the East London NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust; giving students real-life experience whilst they are still studying

Students benefit from specialist facilities at our Clinical Skills Centre, located at Northampton Square. The centre has state-of-the-art clinical and ultrasound equipment in simulated ward settings, to prepare students for practice. On completion of their course, students gain professional registration to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
