Samantha Bailey

Samantha is a 1st year BSc Mental Health Nursing student. She applied to City due to the wide range of placement opportunities the course offers.

What were you doing before you came to study at City?

Before coming to study at City, University of London, I was studying Psychology and Sociology at college.

Why did you decide to apply to study at City, University of London?

I decided to apply to Mental Health Nursing at City because of the wide range of choice for placements.

What is your favourite thing about studying at City? 

My favourite thing about studying at City is the ability to manage my own learning.

What kind of things are you involved in outside of your course?

As part of my course, I am involved in theory work and plenty of fun practicals. In my spare time, I am involved in the Feminist society.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I plan on completing a few years in the nursing field then returning to University for a master's degree.

What would be your top tip for our applicants? 

Do plenty of research on the courses you are interested in.
