Maria Kosmopoulou

Maria is a 2nd year LLB Law student from Greece. She decided to study at City due to the excellent reputation of The City Law School.

What were you doing before you came to study at City?

I finished high school in Greece, where I also did a two-year foundation course whilst completing my last two years of high school, in order to prepare for studying in the UK.

Why did you decide to apply to study at City, University of London?

The City Law School's worldwide reputation of excellence, alongside with the ideal location of the University in the City of London, were factors that helped me make my decision.

What is your favourite thing about studying at City?

The innovative structure of my course, which reflects the changes taking place in the legal industry, as well as the strong academic team, were some of City’s most important perks.

What kind of things are you involved in outside of your course?

I work as a Marketing Student Ambassador and participate in commercial awareness workshops introduced in 2019.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

After my graduation, I intend to complete the Legal Practice Course in order to work as a solicitor in the commercial field.

What would be your top tip for our applicants?

Decide on your own career path and set goals so that you can put all your efforts and energy towards achieving your goal. Stay focused.
