Computer Science at City

Computer Science courses at City are designed to help IT professionals gain a world-class academic postgraduate degree providing them with the essential skills and knowledge required to further their career in today's booming tech industry.

If you are a recent graduate of computer science or mathematics, our courses can help prepare you for a career in the fields of business systems, cyber security, gaming and software engineering.

Our programmes are taught in central London and students have access to outstanding academic facilities such as a high-spec computing laboratory, virtual reality kits and a virtual hacking laboratory. Students also have the opportunity to complete up to six months of professional experience as part of your degree.

With the exception of MSc Artificial Intelligence and MSc Cyber Security (full-time only), all programmes can be completed either full-time over 12 months or part-time over 27 months.

If you are working towards becoming a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), you will be pleased to know that each of the below courses are accredited by the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and are recognised as partially contributing to CITP status.

Artificial Intelligence MSc

Computer Games Technology MSc

Designed for IT professionals and computer science graduates with a passion for gaming who aspire for a career in the vibrant computer games industry. Core modules cover game development and architecture, graphics, digital signal processing and audio programming and C++ programming.

Cyber Security MSc

Software Engineering MSc
