Biography
Kristine joined the centre in 2006. She has previously worked on the EU-funded Projects APOSDLE which looked at supporting learning at work, and TRACEBACK which was aimed at supporting food chain traceability with technology. She is currently working on the EU funded project MIRROR which is focused on enabling learning through creative problem solving and reflection.
Kristine's main research streams are centred on requirements discovery, elicitation and invention. She is also interested in the use of creativity techniques in the specification and design of socio-technical systems. Recently she has been involved in research to provide creativity and technological support for residential care homes in the care for people with dementia. In addition to this work in MIRROR, she is also leading a project to create a digital Rummage-box and Life History Book on a tablet device, which is due to be piloted in a UK residential care home in early 2012.
Kristine also works for the new interdisciplinary Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice.
