Career summary
Registered Nurse, (Guys 1983) who worked in a variety of settings, mainly in acute and critical care nursing. Undertook full time Biology degree and entered Nurse education in 1992. Have worked in a variety of different roles, module leading and Programme directing the Adult Diploma from 2004-8. Currently academic lead for assessments in the department.

Teaching
I teach across a wide variety of modules. Main teaching is on the Adult Nursing branch (NM2761), however I also contribute to teaching Mental health and Child branches as well as input to Midwifery.
I also teach on a variety of CPD modules e.g. NM3099 Developments in infection control, NMM024 medicines management and also provide clinical teaching at Homerton hospital for Pre-registration Nursing students.

Currently working on several publications, including an article and book chapter. I am a member of a multi-professional group looking at genetics and cardiovascular disease.
