Commenting on the event, Dr Taylor said:

“We were pleased to have hosted our successful in-person HCID Open Day event this year, taking the theme 'Design Better'. It was wonderful to see such a very strong turnout to the event from visitors and our staff and students. The topics we discussed were all inspired and thought-provoking; they reflected where we are and what we strive to achieve as human-computer interaction design researchers and students. We wish to extend our deep gratitude to everyone who attended, especially our speakers and our sponsors, City Interaction Lab and Bold Insight.”
