Guarantee scheme

Accommodation guarantee scheme for first year undergraduate students for 2016 entry.

Conditions

First year undergraduate students meeting all three conditions below are guaranteed a place in City accommodation for the 2017/18 academic year.

  • You must firmly accept via UCAS an unconditional or conditional offer on a full time course from City, University of London before 30 June 2017.
  • Completed applications for City accommodation must be received by the Student Centre by 30 June 2017.
  • You must be aged 18 years or above at the time of taking up residence in the Hall.* Please check the contract start dates for 2017/18.

* If you are going to be below the age of 18 at the time when the accommodation contracts start for the halls of residence then you will not be covered by City's Guarantee Scheme. However, you are still entitled to make an application for accommodation and we have arrangements with our undergraduate housing providers to provide a limited number of rooms to students under the age of 18 on a case-by-case basis. If this restriction is going to apply to you then please contact the Accommodation Team for further advice at the time of submitting your application for accommodation to the City.

Apply for Halls

First year undergraduates will be able to apply for accommodation once they have firmly accepted an offer (unconditional or conditional) on a full time course at City, University of London. Please note that students' first choice of Halls is noted but not guaranteed as it is subject to availability. Please see the Apply for Halls page for further information.
