In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, City. University of London is offering 3 scholarships to students in Bangladesh, China and Nigeria applying for specific Postgraduate courses.
What does the scholarship include?
- Financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to 3 students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.
Eligibility
You must be:
- A passport holder of Bangladesh, China (mainland only) or Nigeria.
- Have an offer to study one of the following Postgraduate taught courses from City, University of London. Note that, while eligible conditional offer holders can apply, only unconditional offer holders at the point of assessment will be considered for the scholarship.
- MSc Renewable Energy and Power Systems Management: The course will give you an in-depth insight into the technical workings, management and economics of the electrical power industry. Building on your undergraduate degree your MSc will give you the opportunity to pursue a variety of roles across the energy sector.
- MA Culture, Policy and Management: The creative economy (including film, music, writing, computer games, live performance and art practice) is one of the fastest growing industries. This programme will help you understand how to support and sustain cultural and creative activities, in terms of policy and governance.
- MSc Economics: Develop the key competencies in theoretical, applied and empirical economics that are required by many employers of economists. You will cover core modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics, and have the chance to take modules in specialist areas including health economics and behavioural economics.
- Able to pay the remainder of your tuition fee and support yourself by paying all living expenses while studying on the course.
You are not eligible:
- If you have secured funding from another source towards the cost of your studies.
- If you are a current student of City, University of London having started your studies in the current academic year, 2023/24.
