Japanese Beginners (Full Syllabus) Course overview
Learn Japanese online with our beginners course and explore this fascinating language, rich in culture, history and traditions.
We’ll start by teaching you basic greetings in Japanese, as well as learning numbers, dates and times. As you move through the year, you’ll learn to talk about your daily activities and build conversational skills, useful for shopping, work or finding your way around a city.
You’ll be introduced to the Japanese writing systems – Hiragana and Katakana – and learn to read and write simple sentences in Kanji. You’ll also begin to understand verbs in present, past and future tenses, and the use of adjectives.
Whilst you learn Japanese at City, you’ll develop an understanding of Japanese cultural norms and how these are relevant to everyday interactions.
Who is it for?
