This significant day is dedicated to breaking taboos and enhancing understanding and support around menstrual health, aligning with the global initiative celebrated worldwide.
This year's theme is #PeriodFriendlyWorld.
We will be working towards a world where everyone has access to the information, products, and support they need to manage their period with dignity.

- Expert talks: Engage with compelling discussions led by dedicated advocates from City and UCL, bringing powerful personal stories about menstruation to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs many face.
- OIEI update: Learn about the Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion's plans to align City with the ground-breaking BSI's Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause guidance as we aim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone.
- Environmenstrual workshops: Join the inspiring Women's Environmental Network (WEN) for interactive workshops exploring the environmental impact of period products and sustainable alternatives. Learn about WEN's fantastic "Period Education Programme." Free reusable period products will be available following the workshop!
