Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou
Having graduated with a Master’s degree from City, University of London business school in 1988, Stelios has been funding several scholarships each year from his charitable foundation for underprivileged students to do a master’s degree at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass).
Stelios says that the best business idea of his life was to create a pioneering low-cost airline called easyJet but that the second best idea was to keep the ownership of all the easy brands including easyJet in his own private company called easyGroup thus giving him a more stable recurring income from royalties.
