About the speakers
James Cridland
James Cridland is Editor of PodNews, the daily Podcast Newsletter.
He has worked in audio since 1989 and launched the world’s first streaming radio smartphone app for Virgin Radio in 2005.
He joined the BBC in 2007 to develop BBC iPlayer radio and laid the foundations for UK Radio Player.
He consults for audio businesses across the world. James lives in Brisbane, Australia.
Louise Kattenhorn
Louise Kattenhorn commissions podcasts for BBC Sounds, with a focus on bringing new audiences to the BBC.
Her commissions include both entertainment such as 6 Degrees with Jamie and Spencer and narrative series The Story of the Burger Bar Boys and Catching The Kingpins.
She also commissions visualised podcasts – most recently the hugely successful Traitors Uncloaked as a companion to the BBC’s hit show The Traitors which was available on BBC 2, on iPlayer and in BBC Sounds.
Millie Webber
Millie Webber was Head of Digital at Spirit Studios following six years working at Gleam Futures.
Millie has built a career in both Digital and Celebrity talent management, alongside specialising in commercialising the podcasting industry, with a specific passion for building and protecting IP.
Andrew Spence
Andrew Spence has been a presenter and producer on local and national radio for 13 years under the pseudonym of 3Style.
He started on Galaxy FM and Galaxy Network, then moved onto Capital FM Birmingham and Choice FM London, before hanging up the headphones in 2013, to concentrate on producing content.
Andrew worked as a Producer on talkSPORT and talkRADIO, then in 2017 joined Bernard Achampong in the evolution of unedited.
This started the podcast journey, and has seen Andrew involved in producing award-winning podcast series, such as Coming In From The Cold, Sounds Of Black Britain and It Was All A Dream.
