Bayes Alumni Connect is a new series of regular networking events for Bayes graduates in London designed to help alumni create new professional connections, re-connect with old friends and catch up with all the latest news from the Business School.
We are pleased to invite all Bayes alumni in London and the UK to ‘Bayes Alumni Connect’ on Wednesday 3rd July. As well as networking and refreshments, this event will include a session led by Dr Emre Soyer, PhD on 'Decisions under Uncertainty'.
Decisions under Uncertainty
Leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs have to make their decisions amid various types of risks and uncertainties. They trust their intuition, experience, technology, and data as they identify problems, formulate intelligence, and come to conclusions.
However, they often underestimate that these sources can be unexpectedly misleading and inadequate when dealing with uncertainty. In this interactive Bayes Business School Alumni session, Dr Soyer discusses different approaches to decisions under uncertainty, using insights from behavioral science, statistics, and creativity.
