City, University of London are hosting the first annual Immersive Design Sector Forum on the afternoon of Tuesday 23rd January 2024.
An interdisciplinary group of professionals working in Immersive Design (AR/VR/MR/Spatial Computing) from across industries and roles will come together to learn from one another.
The event will open with talks on Immersive Design from a small group of high-profile figures to be confirmed. This will be followed by networking, demos and group tours of the University’s new AR/VR Learning Centre. The event will close with our speakers participating in a panel exploring ‘Immersive Education’, covering requirements for training new Immersive creators and how Immersive can be applied within education.

City is currently building up capabilities in the Immersive Design Sector, with investment in a brand-new AR/VR Learning Centre and associated training for staff and students.
Our aim is to become a hub for the Immersive Design Sector within the UK, offering opportunities for networking and knowledge transfer whilst helping to define educational requirements to meet the needs of this sector.
