Join us for the launch of our longitudinal impact report, an 8-year collaborative project between Bayes Business School and The Portal Trust, which has empowered young people through coaching and mentoring.
The School Engagement Project was established in 2015, through a philanthropic partnership with The Portal Trust, marking a fundamental commitment by our Business School to engage with communities in London, developing our students’ awareness of challenges in society and to provide an education that is responsible, ethical and will enhance their employment prospects.
Our “Mentoring and Coaching for Leadership” module allows Bayes-students an opportunity to mentor local school children or first-year undergraduate students, who may come from low income households or who may be the first in the family to experience higher education. To date, over 1000 young people have participated in this programme.
Guest speaker: Honorary Visiting Professor Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO CBE Vice Patron of Teach First, former CEO of Business in the Community
