In 1973, Andrew Crisford founded Bobinet Ltd., a company specialising in antique clocks, watches and scientific instruments. A few years later he was joined by Simon Bull and Sebastian Whitestone. The Company now offers clients worldwide advice on clocks and watches from the 16th to the 20th centuries. The work of Abraham-Louis Breguet has always been one of its specialities.
Andrew has catalogued several important private collections for publication. In conjunction with Sotheby’s, he organised the Daniels Retrospective Exhibition in 2006 and wrote the accompanying catalogue raisonné.
Andrew was Master of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers in 2011. He has a life-long interest in vintage cars and when time allows takes great pleasure in motoring both in the UK and in France.
