Abstract
AITIS is a Deep-Tech AI innovation company with the mission to save and improve lives.
AITIS is in healthcare, construction safety, environmental monitoring to name a few. They have developed products including a Chronic Wound Image App using computer vision and explainability. #
They have also this year launched their own wearable (mymonX) for preventative healthcare with non-invasive glucose models. They are also driving AI innovation forward within the construction safety industry and environmental monitoring.

Sylvia Smit – Founder
Sylvia is a serial entrepreneur but started AITIS to use AI innovation and technology to make a difference to people’s lives.
AITIS' collaboration with City, University of London has ben very fruitful over a number of years and they have offered challenging but interesting internships and have employed a number of them over the years.
They also appreciate the continuing academic support from the likes of Dr Tillman Weyde and of course the likes of Alex Galkin (Databites) and Dr Laura Blatchford and probably too many others.
