The City Law School: Supporting Vulnerable Clients Workshop

This event will take place virtually via Zoom. Please note all attendees will need a Zoom account to access the webinar. A free account can be set up when registering for the event.

This live, interactive one-hour chat will provide you with an insight to the tools and techniques to help support vulnerable clients. It will include looking at how to manage their own emotions and resilience whilst working alongside clients coping with grief and end of life situations. We will look at various topics including:
* How to talk to your clients when they are grieving and things to avoid
* What to do if your client cries
* How to show empathy
* Working with families after or before death
* Helping your clients feel valued and safe
* How to process your own emotions

The event is open to all LPC students and those working in our various Clinic and Pro Bono initiatives.
We are delighted to welcome Chris Claxton-Shirley and Kate Mahon.
Chris Claxton-Shirley is a solicitor at Tees.
Kate Mahon is a solicitor/director at Davidson Mahon Solicitors.

Please note this event is invitation only.
