City to offer new scholarship for postgraduate healthcare courses

The £4,450 scholarship is available for those who demonstrate either clinical or academic excellence

City, University of London is offering a new postgraduate pre-registration scholarship to students applying for a postgraduate pre-registration course in Nursing or Speech and Language Therapy.

Offered across Adult, Child, Mental health and the combined Adult and Mental Health Nursing programmes as well as Speech and Language Therapy, the £4,450 scholarship is available for those who demonstrate either clinical or academic excellence. Clinical scholarships are awarded for evidence of 500 hours of clinical practice in health care and academic scholarships are awarded for a first class honours degree. The scholarships are open to students starting courses in September 2018 and will offer students support for their studies.

Professor Debra Salmon, Dean of the School of Health Sciences, said:
