Shanghai Ranking places Bayes Business School in UK’s top five for Management, Finance and Business Administration

Key research disciplines at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) have been ranked among the top five in the UK of this year’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), as compiled by the Academic Ranking of World Universities – also known as the Shanghai Ranking.

The annual publication measures the academic performance of universities around the world across research output, influence and quality, as well as international collaboration and academic recognition. Across the country, Bayes was ranked 3^rd for Finance, 3^rd for Business Administration and 5^th for Management.

The ranking follows May’s publication of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 where Bayes placed 5^th in the UK for the proportion of research rated as “world leading” (4*).

Professor Bobby Banerjee, Associate Dean of Research & Enterprise at Bayes, said:

“This is a pleasing result, which is further endorsement of the quality and impact of our academic research here at Bayes following on from the excellent REF result that we recently achieved.

The full Global Ranking of Academic Subjects is published on the Shanghai Ranking website, with Bayes Business School’s results coming under the City, University of London name.
