The City Law School and Bayes Business School recently hosted Marian Cabrera and Arlem Perdomo Diaz from the University of Havana.

Cabrera, Coordinator of InCuba, the incubator at the University of Havana, and Perdomo Diaz, Chief of the Industrial Property Department of the University of Havana's Fundacion de Innovacion y Desarrollo, visited City’s technology transfer office.

They also visited Better Space (a joint venture between City and Islington Council to provide a collaborative space for purpose-driven entrepreneurs) and City Launch Lab (the incubation space for City student and graduate entrepreneurs).

The two Cuban visitors also had the opportunity to experience a moot court focusing on a fictitious dispute over university owned IP and featuring City students and alumni mooters, and a graffiti tour in Shoreditch, East London.

All events were supported and accompanied by students and alumni from the City Law School, the Master in Innovation Creativity and Leadership and the Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice.
