The annual Prize-Giving Day rewards City’s MSc students.

City’s Department of Computer Science in the School of Science & Technology, held its annual Prize-Giving Day on 15th June 2022.

Also marking the end of the academic year, the well-attended event brought together current postgraduate students and past graduates from the Department, including those who graduated between March 2021 and March 2022.

Head of Department, Dr Ilir Gashi presented the winners with their prizes.

A total of nine prizes were awarded, with 7 prize-winners attending the event in person.

They were:

  • Daniela Stern-Gabsi (MSc Artificial Intelligence, Best Student Prize, Technical Stream);
  • Rebecca Epstein (MSc Human-Computer Interaction Design, Best Student Prize, Applied Stream);
  • Hugh Ian Adams (MSc Artificial Intelligence, Outstanding Project Prize, Technical Stream);
  • Aaron Mir (MSc Artificial Intelligence, Outstanding Project Prize, Technical Stream);
  • James Marston Kay (MSc Human-Computer Interaction Design, Outstanding Project Prize, Applied Stream);
  • Oludewa Toritseju Abbah Wood (MSc Business Systems Analysis and Design, Outstanding Project Prize, Applied Stream);
  • Naiven Dhali (MSc Business Systems Analysis and Design, Best BSAD student);
  • Jorge Rodriguez Pena (MSc Data Science, Best Internship Student Prize);
  • Seren Turan (MSc Data Science, Outstanding Project Prize, Technical Stream)
