Kate had a successful career with Barclays Bank plc before starting her own learning and development business in 2000. She has an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology which has brought insights into well-being, meaning and positivity. She has worked with many large corporate clients and universities, and is completing her PhD understanding imposter phenomenon in the workplace and coping strategies.
Jiff Bayliss
Jiff is a Clerkenwell & Islington Guiding Association Guide who, after living in north London for 48 years, developed his trade in Islington and Camden but has guided over the South East of England (and even northern France and Belgium) Jiff evokes up to 2000 years of history by drawing attention to sights that are visible to all but not always seen and using them to describe associated people or events.
Alison Clark
Alison is a highly skilled registered dietitian with over two decades of experience in the wellbeing sector, commercial food industry, and NHS. Since 2000, Alison has been instrumental in delivering health and wellbeing messages for renowned brands such as Danone and M&S. Recognised for her contributions, Alison was invited to chair The British Dietetic Association's prestigious Work Ready program.
Scott Christie
Scott is the Head of Training and Integration at Strengthscope, which publishes and certifies users in strengths assessments globally. His passion and skill for creating lightbulb moments makes him a sought-after facilitator and speaker. He describes himself as ‘a walking, breathing case study of how using strengths helps you achieve happiness and success in your career’.
Steve Creffield
Steve is a workshop facilitator, designer and coach. He hosts dynamic and innovative workshops in which people can discover, evolve and safely practice new approaches. For over two decades, he has worked Universities, the Health Sector, and NGO's in UK and globally with clients like the United Nations, The Palladium Group and WaterAid.
Ruby Elliot
Also known as Rubyetc, Ruby is an illustrator, cartoonist and workshop facilitator based in London. She uses humour in her drawings to explore topics around health, and in particular mental health. Her most recent book, 'Silly Us', is a comic look at relationships and why we all need each other so much.
Jim Glennon
Jim has managed people, projects and policy in leading LGBTQ+ organisations for over 30 years and given evidence on LGBTQ+ inequalities to the UK Government Equalities Committee. A founding director of Pride UK, he now leads for the team on LGBTQ+ inclusive policy development.
Monica Kaur
Monica is MaP’s Regional Partnership Manager for East London. She is passionate about helping people to enhance their financial skills and make the most of their money. Her role is to work closely with organisations from the private, public, voluntary/third sectors to support their financial wellbeing strategies by accessing MaPs’ free resources, removing the stigma attached to talking about money and providing impartial advice andguidance.
Nina Maan
Nina, from Accelerator Solutions, is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor & Training Consultant, highly capable with excellent communication skills, determined to help people make a positive impact in their work. Her ‘can do’ approach to her facilitation style and encourages participants to be proactive and enthusiastic in overcoming the challenges they meet.
Greg Savides
Greg is an educator and motivator and takes a holistic approach when it comes to rehabilitation, focusing on the whole rather than the part. He believes in minimising injury and promoting recovery through education, self-belief, self-reliance and exercise. He has a special interest in long standing injuries including chronic back pain and those who have "tried everything."
Victoria Schermuly
Victoria runs Workplace Healthcare and has been driven by a passion to help people to find joy in all areas of life. She is trained in many therapies, and in addition teaches kids yoga and mindfulness and adult yoga and meditation classes.
Dr Craig Tindall
Dr Craig Tindall is an alumni of City, works as a 'Pracademic' splitting his time between lecturing at Uni of Herts Business School and consulting on transformation projects. He is a fellow of the Centre for Evidence-based management. Craig has studied chemistry, psychology and organisational psychology. Craig's eclectic career has included making isotope labelled molecules as a research chemist, running online procurement auctions as a management consultant, designing global leadership programmes and helping organisations transform to digital and data cultures - every example was full of decision-making using all sorts of evidence sources...and not all the decisions went so well...

Mark is a Planning Performance and Risk Manager in City’s Strategic Planning and Performance Unit.
Andrew Channing
Andrew, Visiting Lecturer at City, studied gamelan in Java and Bali. Since 1991 he has been teaching gamelan throughout Europe, primarily at the Southbank Centre, City (since 1999), SOAS and LSO St Luke's. He has also performed worldwide.
Emily Deane, Conny Eder
Emily and Conny are both Organisational Development Advisors at City. They are Organisational Psychologists, passionate about helping people make the most of their lives at work. They have years of experience of supporting people in their development and wellbeing at work using an evidence-informed approach.
Tom Kelly
Tom is a Programme Manager in City’s Change Support Unit (CSU). He manages CSU’s project management office, overseeing and supporting City’s strategic projects. Before joining City, Tom worked at Sussex and London South Bank universities, in policing and in local government.
Dr Poonam Madar
Poonam, Visiting Lecturer at City, is a writer, sociologist, and curator with a background in research, visual culture, and the sociology of emotions. Poonam’s expertise includes the use of arts-based methods to explore themes of identity, culture, difference, and belonging. Poonam is a therapeutic and reflective writing practitioner and the founder of Working Warrior.
Jordan Nickel, Yusuf Ahmad
Jordan and Yusuf are Project & Business Analysts with the Change Support Unit at City. Jorden specialises in user-centred design methods and has led the development of a service design toolkit for City. Yusuf is responsible for supporting colleagues across City on key activities within projects, such as requirements gathering, mapping benefits, generating user stories, training and more.
The Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion
The Office for Institutional Equity and Inclusion is City’s catalyst for inclusive excellence and culture change, working across the University to foster an inclusive, fair and respectful environment for the whole community. Joey Knock is an EDI Officer in the Office, specialising in supporting staff networks, the EDI Board and events.
Professor Susannah Quinsee
Susannah is City’s Vice President (Digital and Student Experience). She is leading on the University's response to digital transformation and how this will impact on the student experience. She is a Lego Serious Play Facilitator and her current research focuses on playful leadership and change management.
Dr Swrajit Sarkar
Swrajit, Senior Lecturer in Nutrition at City, is a registered public health nutritionist with the association for nutrition (UKVRN), and a member of the Nutrition Society, a full member of the Royal Society of Biology and chartered biologist (CBiol), and fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH).
