City, University of London presents a concert by two outstanding young musicians, joint prizewinners of the Musical Odyssey Summer School 2019: Portuguese pianist Pedro Viana Silvestre and Ukrainian soprano Victoria Khoroshunova, both now making waves as rising international stars.

Held annually in Nafplio, Greece, Musical Odyssey delivers world-class tuition to young musicians from around the world, making their first steps in their musical career.

Programme: "Variations on Love"

To include:

  • Alexander Scriabin, Poème Tragique, Op. 34
  • Armando José Fernandes, Five Preludes, Op. 1
  • Sergei Rachmaninov, Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42
  • Operatic arias by Leoncavallo, Verdi, Puccini, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Lehàr.

Free to attend, with a drinks reception for all guests following the performance
