With the evolution of artificial intelligences and the spread of increasingly powerful devices between not technical user, anyone who wants to reach their customers through digital devices, or improve automation of their internal process, must think about new methods and interfaces.
In this context, we decided to develop a framework that helps an IT professional to design and deploy in a few days a chatbot interface for a large class of business processes.
We decided to use Python language in order to have a dev-friendly solutions, and a modular architecture to make it flexible and scalable.
We worked with a railway company to develop a prototype for their HR unit, and getting on with development, we realized in how many areas a chatbot could be used, but also how many issues are related with a natural language interface.
We dealed with privacy and security issues about all the data collected in conversations, so we came up with the idea that our platform could be used to design a powerful Security chatbot! Still working on this!
Paolo D'Elia is a Software Engineer, working in Information Technolgy since 1996. In 2001, he got a Computer Engineering degree from Tor Vergata University of Rome.
After a brief experience in ATC software design, he focused on energy industry, working as a Business Process Engineer for a Power Company and designing several solution for power plants automation and management.
Currently he is leading the Software Engineer Unit of DGS SpA, working for the implementation and maintenance of software products (applications and services) providing:
- Compliance with customer process
- Architectural blueprints,
- Technological Guidelines
- Alignment with corporate standards,
- Synergies in the development,
- Control of integration services.
