Research Design Service Introductory Talk
This event is for staff only
The School of Health Sciences Presents: Sandra Jumble from The Research Design Service
Research Design Service (RDS) London provides support to those preparing research proposals for submission to peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research.
RDS London is part of a network of regional support services funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). They form a key part of the research infrastructure and provide advice and guidance free of charge through consultation with experts and use of online resources.
They provide a free design and methodological support to health and social care researchers who are developing research funding applications to NIHR and other open, national, peer-reviewed funding programmes e.g. Medical Research Council, specific medical charity opportunities. They also run monthly drop-in sessions, where researchers can chat with an RDS adviser about their research ideas and be signposted to potential funding avenues.
For further information on the range of support they provide can be found on their website.
Following this introductory talk will be some bookable Drop-In Sessions at City.
