The Politics Society in association with the Center for International Policy Studies is organizing a Panel about the LGBT Politics in Europe.

Join us for a critical discussion on the current state of LGBT politics in Europe. We have brought together an excellent panel of experts and practitioners to discuss how LGBT politics are constructed in Europe and how we can challenge the ideas off Western Exceptionalism when it comes the LGBT-Friendliness. Topics will include the Myth of Eastern Homophobia, The Practice of International LGBT Activism, are Prides good litmus test of modernity and the experiences of LGBT asylum seekers.

The panel will be formed of Dr Koen Slootmaeckers, Dr Claire House, Dr Lukasz Sculz and Alexander Powel.

Please join us for some drinks and food at 17:30, followed by the panel at 18.00.
