We have teamed up with Colgate-Palmolive, Tesco, and Dunnhumby to bring you the third edition of the Cass Marketing Innovathon.

What is the challenge this year?

To develop a full marketing campaign for Colgate-Palmolive UK, leveraging the breadth of Tesco’s ecosystem! We invite you to join us at Dunnhumby’s offices in Hammersmith for 1.5 days full of marketing ideas, innovation, and hands-on advice from our ‘industry experts’. With the help of mentors from Colgate-Palmolive, Tesco, and Dunnhumby, and Cass Marketing Faculty, you will develop a campaign to “to win the hearts and minds of the nation on the subject of child oral health.”

Who is the challenge for?

We are looking for talented, innovative and motivated students who want to compete for the chance to develop a campaign idea from scratch, pitch it to the brand team at Colgate-Palmolive, and see it rolled out in the UK! Whether you are a current MSc, BSc, or MBA student, if you like to brush your teeth and are passionate about marketing, we want you to attend this event!

What happens, where, and when?

Friday 16th of February: 13.15-19.30 – Dunnhumby’s offices near Hammersmith – Kick-off, keynote presentations, introduction to the challenge, meet your team, start working on your campaign

Saturday 17th of February: 09.00-16.30 – Dunnhumby’s offices near Hammersmith – Keynote presentations, keep working on your campaign, X-Factor audition-style pitches to get initial feedback, prepare your final pitch

Saturday: 16:30-18.30
Final pitches, winners are announced, celebratory drinks

Refreshments and food will be provided throughout the event.

The winning team will pitch their campaign idea to the marketing and sales teams at Colgate-Palmolive and Tesco. If they decide to role out your campaign in the UK (as they did last year), you will be included as much as possible.

The winning team will also get a “London experience” prize…you have to win to find out what exactly that is!

How to apply

Places are limited. To apply, simply complete the short application form on this site by Friday 2nd of February. No late application will be accepted.

You will be informed by Monday the 5th of February if your application has been successful. After that day, you will also receive all the background information you need to be prepared for the event.
