Booking NOW for the second Women on Air Conference.
Bang up-to-the-minute new figures on the number of expert women, women reporters and women presenters on flagship broadcast news will be announced; and the editors of all the main news programmes will be on a panel chaired by Professor Lis Howell.
This exciting conference will look at women in UK broadcast news in greater depth than ever before, with those programmes doing well and those lagging behind, and will ask if more needs to be done to ensure fair representation, both by broadcasters and by government.
The conference starts at 10am, finishes at 4pm and includes tea, coffee, lunch and a final reception.
