Financial regulation during the recovery

6.00pm

Panel Discussions

Public

With many experts reporting that the UK financial sector has entered a stage of recovery many questions have arisen regarding how the sector will cope with a new regulatory environment. Are new regulations for the financial sector sufficient to prevent another recession without curtailing growth? How can regulators as well as industry leaders ensure that the sector’s recovery continues as planned and what are the compliance challenges ahead?

This panel discussion will be chaired by Professor David Collins, Professor of International Economic Law, The City Law School.

Dr Joanna Perkins, Chief Executive, Financial Markets Law Committee
Professor Ioannis Kokkoris, Centre for Commercial Legal Studies, Queen Mary University
Adam Berry, Senior Associate, Financial Services Disputes, Eversheds LLP
Nick Gray, Senior Regulatory Lawyer, Lloyds Banking Group

The event will be taking place in the Kitchen at Cass Business School.
