Originally from New Zealand, Jennifer Lee, has continued to perform extensively at major venues in UK and abroad as an acclaimed recitalist and chamber musician. She has been successful in winning prizes at the 8th Scottish International Piano Competition, Royal Overseas League Competition, MBF Awards, Making Music Awards and 2010 Académie Internationale de Musique Maurice Ravel, among others. Jennifer is passionate about promoting piano solo repertoire by women composers from around the world and is currently a fellow of NZ Federation of Graduate Women. Her doctoral thesis discusses the Six Piano Études by the Korean composer, Unsuk Chin. She has received generous sponsorships from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, MB Adams Scholarship, Sheldon Award, Taylor Wessing Company, Myra Hess Foundation (MBF) and Creative New Zealand.
