Lunchtime Concert: Ben Schoeman (Piano)

Pianist Ben Schoeman (DMA) is currently completing a thesis on the piano works of the prominent South African composer Stefans Grové, who has recently celebrated his 90th birthday. Grové's music is strongly influenced by elements from traditional music in Southern Africa. Apart from the colourful tone pictures of Grové, this piano recital will also include Variations on a theme of Paganini by Johannes Brahms.
