Asset Management in transport
Transport systems operators rely on a mix of asset management tools and techniques to maximise the benefit from, or return on, infrastructure investment. Asset and risk management strategies are becoming increasingly integrated with core sustainable transport and mobility strategies, with consequences for infrastructure maintenance, renewal, evaluation and financing.
This workshop will explore aspects of emerging practice, reflecting how the drivers of sustainability and value for money are accelerated by current economic conditions and energy realities.
The event will feature contributions from leaders in the practice and study of sustainable transport assets, and include time for questions and answers and discussion for the invited industry audience.
