City, University of London welcomes applications from Colombian students. London is a great place for students from Colombia to study as it is a global city with virtually every nationality represented in some way.

City Visits

The International Team make frequent trips to attend fairs, visit schools and undertake one-to-one counselling with student and parents. If we currently do not have any visits listed here, we can still assist you via email with any queries you may have.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide. For individual course requirements, please refer to the course pages, or contact Patrick  Douse.

Undergraduate

Qualifications from Colombia high school system are not accepted for direct entry and so students would be required to undertake our International Foundation programme at INTO City, which then offers the opportunity for guaranteed entry into City’s bachelor programmes.

Postgraduate

Applicants will be considered for most postgraduate courses with a good Colombian bachelor’s degree from a recognised University. Entry requirements will vary by course for more information about specific course requirements please contact Patrick  Douse.

English language requirements

English language requirements will vary from course to course and the information on this page is only intended to be a general guide. For individual course requirements, please refer to the course pages, or contact the International Recruitment Office .

Students requiring visas must comply with Secure English Language Test (SELT) requirements.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements for their course may have the option to undertake our Pre-sessional English programme at INTO City prior to entry.

Scholarships & loans

Undergraduate

We have a range of partial scholarships available for international students, each based on what qualifications you are studying. The main funding packages for international students are:

  • President’s International Scholarship
  • Global Leaders Scholarship

Postgraduate

Most courses have partial scholarship schemes and details can be found on each course page. If you cannot see a scholarship on the course page and wish to find out if one is available, please email the International Recruitment Office.

There are a number of excellent external scholarship schemes available. The most attractive for international students are:

  • The Chevening Scholarship is the UK government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The Scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential. Awards are typically for a one-year Master's degree, in any subject and at any of the UK's leading universities.
  • The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) awards over 900 scholarships and fellowships for postgraduate study and professional development to Commonwealth citizens each year.
