Course overview

Care Home ‘Check-in and Chat’

Calling care home managers, deputies and nurses: Get the support you need to remain strong during the Covid-19 crisis.

'This support is real and realistic  -  it enables me to continue to lead. It supports our mental health and well being and empowers us to explore different practices'

Working in care homes can be incredibly emotionally and physically draining at the best of times. The pandemic is placing significant pressure on us all.

My Home Life has a proven track record supporting care home practitioners to ‘take a breath’, to gain strength and share ideas with peers.

We are inviting you to join a small group that will meet ‘virtually’ (via Zoom) for 90 minutes every fortnight during the crisis (7 times in total). Supported by highly experienced professional facilitators, these are confidential groups where you can share your experiences or if you want, just listen to others. For many, these groups create a new source of support which can last into the future.

If you are interested but want to hear more, provide your details below and the facilitator will get back in contact with you to discuss what’s involved and help alleviate any worries you might have about joining the group.

The service has a cost but is being delivered free of charge in some areas. We ask for commitment to attend each sessions or at least the first part of the session. The success of the group relies upon this. Tel: 0207 040 5776
