City alumnus Keith San

Ensuring global compliance.

HSBC is one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations, with over 60 million customers in 80 countries and territories.

Keith San studied Business Economics at City, University of London and graduated in 2005.

Keith is a project consultant at HSBC. He previously held roles in multi-nationals such as Deutsche Bank and Barclays.

HSBC is a company Keith has always admired due to their 'reach' into Asia and positioning as a global yet local brand.

At HSBC, Keith leads one of the workstreams for The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), which is a highly visible programme that has been mandated across all financial institutions. His role involves managing end-to-end delivery, steering people towards a common outcome, working closely with key stakeholders, and communicating upwards and downwards accordingly.
