A moment of remembrance

City observes One Minute Silence

by City Press Office (General enquiries)

Members of the University observed One Minute Silence at 11am this morning to remember those who lost their lives due to acts of terrorism last week.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Paul Curran said:

Both personally and on behalf of City University London, I wish to send our support to the people of Paris and all those affected at this shocking time. To our many French staff, students and alumni our thoughts are with you and your families.

The One Minute Silence offered a moment of remembrance not just for those who died in Paris, but for all those affected by terrorism.

Students or staff who have been particularly affected and wish to access the University’s Counselling Services can do so by contacting +44 (0)20 7040 8094 or (for students) and +44 (0)20 7040 5999 or email (for staff).
