City climbs up Guardian League Table

City University London rises two places in The Guardian University Guide to become 22nd in the UK.

The Guardian University Guide, which was published on Tuesday 17 May, ranked City 22nd out of 119 universities in the UK.

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Paul Curran, said:

"This ranking is testament to the University's academic excellence and our commitment to providing the best higher education experience for our students.

"City is ranked among the leading universities in the UK and we are committed to building on this academic standing and reputation in future years."

Placed 22nd overall, City University London was also ranked:

  • 3rd in the UK for Business and Management studies
  • 7th in the UK and 1st in London for Nursing and Paramedical studies
  • 12th in the UK for expenditure per student.
