Are you interested in delivering group antenatal/postnatal care and improving your group facilitation skills? This free 1-day face-to-face interactive workshop is open to any NHS midwife, health visitor, maternity support worker or student.
Facilitators
The trainers have experience of facilitating and implementing group care ('Pregnancy Circles' and 'Parenting Circles') as part of two large research studies in the NHS (REACH and GC_1000).
Certificate
You will receive a certificate as a Pregnancy Circles facilitator.
Abstract
You will learn about the group care model and about how it works within maternity care. You will get a chance to develop your own group facilitation skills during this immersive and stimulating workshop.
The Pregnancy Circles workshops have been very well evaluated and are being made available for free due to funding aimed at supporting the sustainability of group care within the NHS.
Numbers are limited to 12. If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can release your place to somebody on the waiting list.
