About City

International Sales Law

This module examines the main features of the private law of international trade and will be an ideal companion to the other shipping law modules available to City LLM students ie Admiralty Law, The Law of Carriage of Goods by Sea, Marine Insurance and World Trade Law. Together they form a complete suite of modules for the specialist LLM in Maritime Law. Additionally this course will enable students to develop a more sophisticated understanding of the public law issues which are to be found in the World Trade Law option.

Students on the International Sales course who do not also choose options from the list above will clearly miss out on some important issues but will nonetheless be able to follow the module as the key issues that form the basis of Carriage of Goods by Sea and Marine Insurance will be briefly outlined.

This course will be led by Mr Anthony Rogers.
