About
Overview
Shahd completed her MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and her BA in Human Rights and International Law from al-Quds Bard College. Shahd's research interests lie in the fields of human rights law, refugee law, statelessness law, and international humanitarian law.
Prior to joining City, Shahd worked as a legal researcher for NGOs and interned at several intergovernmental and international organisations, including the Office of the European Union Representative (West Bank and Gaza Strip, UNRWA) and the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion.
Shahd's thesis is supervised by Dr. Mazen Masri and Dr. Adrienne Yong.
