Overview
Khaleda is a final-year PhD candidate within the Department of Psychology exploring the effects of mindfulness on eating behaviour. Her research aims to understand the underlying mechanisms by which mindfulness influences eating behaviour, and identify factors that improve adherence to mindful eating which may aid weight management.
Prior to beginning her PhD, Khaleda held research assistant roles at various institutions, and worked as an Assistant Health Psychologist in a healthcare communications setting. She holds a BSc in Psychology from City, University of London, and an MSc in Health Psychology from UCL.
Khaleda's PhD is supervised by Dr Katy Tapper and Dr Angeliki Bogosian.
