About
Overview
Alexandra is a PhD student in the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction Design. Her research focuses on situated knowledge practices, with a particular emphasis on the galleries, libraries, archives, and museum (GLAM) sector. Alexandra's PhD seeks to understand how humanities researchers' interactions with archival material, both within and beyond the physical archives, is blurring the boundaries between archival and individual knowledge creation. As an AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Partnership student, Alexandra is co-supervised by City, University of London and The National Archives, UK. At City she is supervised by Dr Stephann Makri and Dr Alex Taylor.
