Overview

Dr Matt Barnes joined the Sociology Department at City University London in August 2014. He is a member of City's Q-Step Centre and has responsibility for expanding the accessibility and use of quantitative data.

Matt previously worked at NatCen Social Research, and has also worked in government and academia. He specialises in the secondary analysis of complex survey data and his research focuses on poverty, disadvantage and social exclusion.
