Dr. Denvar Summers is an academic and practitioner in the field of organisational psychology. He is a chartered psychologist through the BPS, and an endorsed organisational psychologist through the APS. Prior to his current role, Dr. Summers served as an applied researcher for the Australian Department of Defence, where his work contributed to the enhancement of organisational effectiveness in high-stakes environments, the optimisation of human-autonomy teaming, the human aspects of cyber security, and various other applications in the interest of national security.
As an organisational consultant Dr. Summers specialises in various sub-facets of organisational culture, including safety culture, risk culture, and information security culture, as well as psychometric design and evaluation. He has published several papers on psychometric design best practice, and focuses on the practical usefulness of psychometric measures for the upstream prevention of organisational issues. Dr. Summers holds numerous accreditations for psychometric assessment tools, and his understanding of human behaviour within organisational contexts allows for invaluable insights and strategic guidance across diverse industries.
Currently, Dr. Summers serves as a faculty member for City, The University of London, where he teaches advanced research methods and statistics, evidence-based practice, and organisational culture.
