Northampton Square

Parking in the roads surrounding the Northampton Square site is at parking meters. Nearest National Car Park

Cass Business School (Bunhill Row)

Parking in the roads surrounding Bunhill Row is at parking meters. The nearest National Car Parks to Cass Business School are at Finsbury Square, Tabernacle Street, Clere Street and Paul Street.

The City Law School, Gray's Inn

Parking in the roads surrounding The City Law School is at parking meters. The nearest National Car Parks to the Inns of Court School of Law are Selkirk House, Museum Street or International Press Centre, Shoe Lane.

Please note that the majority of City sites are within the Congestion Charging Zone. For Congestion Charge information please see www.cclondon.com or the travel information on individual maps.



Gatwick/Luton Airport

The Thameslink train service connects Gatwick and Luton airports directly with Farringdon Station. Trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 45 minutes.

Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport is on the London underground system, on the Piccadilly Line, and the nearest underground stations for the University are reached by changing at Kings Cross St Pancras. The journey from Heathrow to Kings Cross St Pancras takes one hour.

For the Inns of Court School of Law you can take the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport directly to Holborn station.

London City Airport

From London City Airport, take the DLR to Bank and then change for the Northern Line. Express coach services also run to Liverpool Street station.

Stansted Airport

From Stansted Airport, take the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street station. Trains run every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 45 minutes.

Drinking water provisions at City

Free chilled drinking water is provided for all staff and students at our Northampton Square site as part of City's participation in the www.TapWater.org scheme, which provides free drinking water at all participating venues around London and across the UK.

You are encouraged to bring your own bottle along to refill for free. City-branded water bottles can also be purchased in the Students' Union and at CitySport.

Bottled water

City is committed to reducing the amount of plastics on campus and therefore encourages students and staff to take advantage of the free drinking water that is available rather than purchasing water in plastic bottles.

All water provided through in-house hospitality is filtered and bottled on site into reusable glass bottles. No plastic bottles are provide.

Showers and changing facilities

Showers and changing facilities can be found at various locations around City.  Please enquire with the Reception desk at these buildings for further details:

  • University Building (lower ground) - 4 unisex showers*, including 1 disabled shower
  • Rhind Building (4th floor, door opposite men's toilets) - 1 unisex shower*
  • College Building (lower ground, men's toilet next to ALG19B) - 1 shower
  • Tait Building (Lower ground floor, room CXLG13) - 1 unisex shower*
  • Tait Building (Ground floor, door adjacent to ladies' toilet opposite CG23) - 1 unisex shower*
  • (Staff only) Myddelton Street Building (lower ground, MXLG17) - 1 unisex shower*

*All unisex shower facilities are in self-contained cubicles
