Music alumna performing in Bulgarian concert conducted by Peter Fender

by charlotte

2011 BMus alumna Honey Rouhani will be singing in a concert organized by Serdica Musica in Bulgaria on 19 April.

The concert is something of a family affair as Honey's brother, Neysun Rouhani, will be playing Beethoven's 3rd piano concerto, and a piece recently composed by her father (Mehran Rouhani), 'Unity in Diversity', will also be performed.

Honey will be performing two songs:

  • Rachmaninoff's 'Vocalise'
  • 'Ah Ich Fuhls' from Mozart's Magic Flute

The concert will be conducted by British conductor Peter Fender, who is an old City Music graduate.

For more information see the Serdica Musica website.
